Recently,FUZHI signed an in-depth cooperation agreement with fabric suppliers certified by the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI),starting from the source of cotton cultivation, will build a full-chain sustainable supply chain system for cotton products.
As a global non-profit organization,BCI¡¯s core mission is to promote Better Cotton cultivation standards and reduce the environmental and social impacts of cotton production at the source. Its standards cover six core principles: minimizing the harmful effects of crop protection measures, efficient water use and water conservation, protecting soil health, preserving natural habitats, maintaining fiber quality, and promoting decent work and effective management systems. These principles not only ensure the environmental sustainability of cotton production, but also effectively safeguard the legitimate labor rights and interests of cotton farmers.
Following this cooperation, some cotton products under FUZHI will adopt fabrics made from BCI-certified cotton raw materials, achieving full-chain sustainable management from cotton cultivation to fabric processing. This initiative not only actively responds to the global trend of sustainable agriculture, but also provides brand clients with transparent and responsible cotton product solutions, helping the fashion industry break free from the environmental pressures of traditional cotton production and move towards a low-carbon, sustainable future.
